While bookings may be available as late as 2 weeks before your weekend event, I reccomend reaching out a few months before your event to secure a date. Events scheduled 4+ months in advance do not require a deposit to secure the date. For weekday events, please reach out as early as possible.
The avergae show will last around 1 hour, which includes a hands-on take-home activity for the kids. This however, is flexible and shows can be designed to last up 90 minutes or more for no additional cost if you'd like to keep the show going longer for extra enthusiastic scientists! Please make requests for extended or shortened shows during the booking process.
A table (6ft folding tables are perfect), a clear space of roughly 10×10 feet, access to a power outlet, and access to water. I bring absolutely everything else — all equipment, supplies, safety gear, and cleanup materials. You just supply the excited kids!
Absolutely. Safety is my top priority. All experiments are child-safe and every activity is age-appropriate. I've performed for kids as young as 3 and as old as 17!
Yes! Schools booking multiple assemblies or a full-day visit can often save on the per-show cost. Get in touch and let's talk about what makes sense for your school's needs and budget. Schools can receive up to a 75% discount on assemblies booked for evening family events like science nights!
Life happens — I get it. Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days may be subject to a partial fee to cover materials already sourced. I'll always work with you if something unexpected comes up- Parties can be rescheduled up to 6 Hours prior to the party free of charge. *Availability for rescheduling dates may be limited.
